Student Membership

​The New England chapter is committed to supporting design students.  A Student membership to the New England chapter is only $50 per year, and affords students access to all IFDA NE events at a reduced cost and contact to professional IFDA NE members,  who are interested in assisting students in their transition as they become design industry professionals.  Join as a student member,here: https://ifda.com/join-ifda (and scroll down to see the requirements for student membership).

IFDA Education Foundation Scholarships and Professional Grants

In addition, through the IFDA Educational Foundation, nine yearly scholarships are made available to design students. Eligibility guidelines for each scholarship are specified on the IFDA Educational Foundation website:  ifdaef.org/student-scholarships 

 Scholarship applications are accepted every year, from March 1 - March 31.

The Educational Foundation also supports design professionals and educators through five yearly grants (eligibility guidelines for each grant are specified on the IFDA Educational Foundation website:  ifdaef.org/professional-grants).

The IFDA Educational Foundation, is a non-profit, tax exempt, 501c(3) organization, raising and distributing funds to foster educational activities, as well as, related charitable endeavors. Administered by an all-volunteer, six member Board of Trustees, EF's primary funding sources include a percentage of IFDA member dues as well as donations from chapters, individual members, industry and corporate friends. Contributions, gifts and bequests are deductible for Federal income and estate tax purposes.
